Operated Cherry Picker Hire vs Self-Drive Hire

When you need to work at height, hiring a cherry picker with a trained operator offers more than just access to equipment...

What Is Operated Cherry Picker Hire?

Operated cherry picker hire means you hire the machine together with an experienced operator.

We deliver the cherry picker to your site, set it up and operate it for you, allowing you to concentrate on the work that needs to be carried out at height. It’s a simple and efficient option for roofing, tree work, building maintenance, guttering, aerial work and many other jobs.

For smaller jobs, our operated cherry picker hire is cheaper than self-drive hire. With a minimum hire period of just 2 hours, you only pay for the time you need, while the machine comes with an experienced operator. For short-duration work, operated hire can be considerably more cost-effective than hiring a machine yourself.

With self-drive hire, you are responsible for operating the machine yourself and arranging the appropriate equipment, fuel, insurance, travel to and from the collection point. With our operated service, an experienced IPAF-trained operator comes with the machine and takes care of the operation for you.

Operated cherry picker hire can be a practical choice when you need access equipment for a specific job without taking responsibility for operating the machine yourself.

It can save time on setup and operation, while an experienced operator can help position the machine efficiently and get you to the working height you need.

Using an experienced operator means the cherry picker is operated by someone familiar with the equipment and working at height.

Our operators are IPAF-trained and can set up and operate the machine safely and efficiently, helping your job run smoothly from start to finish.

Operated cherry picker hire is suitable for a wide range of jobs where safe and efficient access to height is required.

We regularly provide access for roofing and building maintenance, tree work, guttering and fascia work, TV aerial and satellite work, painting and decorating, signage, inspections and other high-level repairs.
